Taylor Swift Didn’t Tell Harry Styles To “Shut The Fuck Up” At VMAs

Last week saw the VMAs take place.

One Direction were up for the “Best Song of the Summer” award.

They won the award for latest single “Best Song Ever”, fighting off competition from fellow nominees Miley Cyrus, Daft Punk, Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris and Robin Thicke.
Things got controversial when they went to collect the award, after there were boos from the crowd. This resulted in Lady Gaga stepping in to defend the boys.
During One Direction’s acceptance speech, Harry’s ex Taylor Swift was seen mouthing on camera: “Shut the f**k up.”
Everyone jumped to the conclusion this was aimed at Harry but Ed Sheeran has said otherwise.
Sheeran, who wrote “Moments”, “Over Again” and “Little Things” for 1D is currently touring with Taylor and appeared at a press conference.
At the press conference he defended Taylor, saying: “She rung me straight afterwards and said ‘I think I messed up’.
“Selena had said to her ‘I think Miley’s going to win’ and that’s what that was, so… That’s what that was.”
